Because... You can afford us!

College is expensive. Tuition, books, lab fees, and supplies add up quickly. Add the costs of room and board or apartment living, plus transportation, and it's not hard to see why so many people are asking if college is worth the price.

Cost Comparison

We think it is, if you do it right.

Your first years of college don't really have to be so expensive. At $130 per credit, CSI charges less than half what any of Idaho's 4-year universities for the same classes that college freshmen and sophomores everywhere have to take. The core credits you earn toward your major here at CSI will transfer smoothly to all of those universities.

Just think of the money you will have saved in the meantime.

CSI is such an affordable option if you live in southern Idaho. But it’s more than affordable. You get quality professors, memorable experiences, and an overall quality education.

Both of my parents attended CSI before going on to four-year universities. I believe my parents were both helped by starting their higher education here. I was born and raised in Twin Falls and I have always enjoyed many activities here on campus. When I became a CSI student, I was amazed by the staff and faculty. Everyone has been extremely helpful and willing to go out of their way to ensure my success. Not many colleges can compete with CSI’s affordability. This is, hands down, the best place to jump start your academic or career endeavors..
